Easter is just around the corner and at Harvest it is our favourite holiday of the year!
Easter is a time to focus our attention on the event that proved that Jesus was who he claimed to be. He was God in the flesh, and he came to earth to save us and he conquered death and sin forever.
We recognize that every time we gather for worship we are giving praise and thanksgiving for the overthrow of evil and new life offered by God in Christ. This victory not only happened two thousand years ago, but it happens today in the lives of people who bring to worship their own struggles against that evil and experience the power of the resurrection.
We have already begun preparations for our Easter service which will include a choir (make sure you grab Eric at eric@harvestmuskoka.com if you are interested in participating ... he could use more guys!) and some great testimonies of life change as we are also celebrating the new life offered by Jesus' resurrection by having some baptisms (if you are interested in talking about baptism please grab Kaj or email him.
This is a great service to invite friends, family and neighbours ... it is still over a month away and yet we anticipate such a great day to celebrate new life in Christ.
